אבי, ניצול שואה בן 83, מעיד מזה שנים בבתי ספר בבלגיה, במטרה לחנך את הדור הצעיר. הוא מעביר מסר של סובלנות תוך הנצחת הזיכרון. ארבע פעמים בשנה הוא גם מלווה כיתות לביקור במחנה אושוויץ. בשבוע שעבר, שעה שהעיד בבית ספר בבריסל, התפרץ מורה לדת האיסלאם לדבריו, וטען שסיפורו מוגזם ומסולף. המורה צפוי לעונש על פי החוק הבלגי. אני מצרף שני קישורים באנגלית, וקריקטורה שציירתי לפני שנתיים כשהתנהלה בטהרן תחרות קריקטורות המכחישות את השואה

Mon pére, rescapé de l'enfer concentrationnaire, témoigne depuis des années dans les écoles belges, travail de mémoire et de tolérance qui est sa raison d'être å l'âge de 83 ans. Il accompagne aussi plusieurs fois par an des classes Auschwitz. Son témoignage a fait l'objet d'un livre paru aux éditions Luc Pire :"Une adolscence perdue dans la nuit des camps". La semaine derniére, alors qu'il témoignait a l'Athénée de Bruxelles 2, un professeur de religion islamique l'a interrompu en tenant des propos dignes des théses du négationniste Roger Garaudy.

והפכו את האצבע המשולשת והמקללת לאגרוף קמוץ.
לא שהם מנסים להימנע מפגיעה בצ'בז, אלא מנסים
שלא לפגוע ברגשות הקורא הממוצע. אם בטלויזיה משמיעים
"ביפ" במקום "פאק יו", בקריקטורה עושים פעלול פוטושופ
קטן וסוגרים עניין, גם אם זה משנה משמעותית את האמירה.
זה מסוג הדברים שקריקטוריסט חייב ללמוד לחיות עמם היום.
זה קורה יום-יום אך זה לא אומר שצריך להימנע מבדיקה
יום-יומית של גבולות המותר. בדיקה זו היא חובה
My Hugo Chavez cartoon has been modified by
CWS/NYTimes website. The  insulting finger has been changed
into a fist, thanks to Photoshop. The problem is that
the meaning of the cartoon is totally different.
It's like putting a"Beep!" instead of "F… you!" in radio or TV.
Today cartoonists must learn to live with that bloody PC
(Politically Correctness), but it in no way means we have
to stop provoking. At the contrary we have to check
where the red lines are every single day. It's an obligation!
